Well, there's no chance in heck
I'm going to have either the Writings section or the new Gallery
ready in the next three days. Maybe I can coerce robin into dealing
with the writings section--its mostly a matter of updating links
at this point. It just takes FOREVER! There's so fricking many
pages!!! I've been thinking about posting a sort of half-update
index, one of those "We're currently reorganizing, come back
soon" kind of things. That might inspire me to get my butt
in gear.
The reason I haven't spent enough
time on the page is that I've been insanely creative these last
few days, both writing and drawing. I bought myself (w/christmas
money) black drawing paper and a set of 50 cray-pas (which are
pastel crayons) and I've been having way too much fun with them.
I also wrote about 3,000 words in
Tala and Elianna's story! This finishes Part 4, which has been
stuck in the same place for months!! I've also figured out how
to start Part 5, and thought about the plot. Scarily enough, with
four out of eight eventual parts (two more Parts and then two
Epilogues) we have about 25,000 words. Damn! We could end up with
about a 50,00 word story or more at this rate! That's long enough
to make a novel!! Wow, when I started this process a year and
a half ago I didn't expect anything like it.
So, all that awaits is a bit of
html fiddling by Robin and you will be able to find Part 4 online.
Hope you see it soon!
In other good news, I've gotten
an acceptance letter from one of my top two choice colleges. The
other one I won't hear from until march. I still have to audition
to be in the music department, but, hey, at least now I'm definitely
going!
Well, hope you all had a Merry Christmas,
Happy Chanukah, Güt Yule/Solistice, Spiritually-fullfilling
Ramadam, *insert adjective here* *insert holiday of your choice
here*!!! There, wasn't that fun! Happy New Year to all of you,
in a few days it will actually be the New Millenium!!!

So I just realized I hadn't typed any good
updates in a while. I decided after the last one that I was totally
sick of the disorganized way the Strand has been growing, so I
am in the process of reorganizing and designing the Strand. Some
of the pages will be the same/similar, mostly those there is no
need to change, but some will disappear and parts will be completely
reorganized.
I will also add a new Art Gallery section to
the Strand, and from now on the Writings and Art sections will
be the main parts of the Strand. The geocities Strand will disappear
soon after-- we may leave it up as a memorial page to old Strands,
with the Tetpage up for y'all to see, or close it down. I haven't
decided. The process is taking a while, what with homework getting
in the way, but I am hopeful for it to be completely ready by
the end of winter break.
I'm writing this about half an hour after getting
home from the end of the year marching band party. As a senior
this was my last such party, and standing up there being the one
to give out certificates and superlatives and all that was strangely
poignant. I haven't really hit the point where end of season depression
hits me, but its getting there. Sigh. I love the band!

Sorry about the lack of updates. I've been busy, this is prob'ly the most busy summer I've ever had.
What's been happening: The last week of June I went to N Dakota
for a week for a family reunion on my mom's side of the family.
Then I was home for a week, in which I did homework and slept.
Then I (&Robin & Jasper) have been at the Adventure Game
Theatre (a live-action roleplay/theatre/community living camp)
for the last two weeks. Just got home last night. Hopefully, in
the next two weeks before we leave again I will be able to update
the news page, the index (which needs a new background of some
sort), and maybe add some stuff to Strand II!!! Hopefully. I do
have a lot of homework.

One, count them,
one more day of school left!!!!!!!! After that comes summer
break and maybe even free time to update the site...no, wait,
nevermind. I'm going to be out of state for three week this
summer, out of town for two more. Still, when I do
have time, there will actually be updates, yay!
Band news: Mr Washam, former upper house
(7th & 8th grade in the middle school) band director has been
hired as the new high school band director!!! YAY! He has
announced, to everyone's joy, that next year's marching band show
will be a LES MISERABLES based show. Not only do Robin and
I have an obsession with that musical, so does much of the rest
of the band. To top it all off, Jason will be drum
major. This is, to at least a few of us, a combination that
will make for the best show ever, and a damn good season!!!!!!!!
Robin news: In case you didn't know,
Robin is graduating tomorrow. That's right, Robin of the
Strand is going off to college next fall. :( We'll
miss seeing her everyday and all that good stuff, but I've made
her promise to email me everyday. Besides, just 'cause she's
in college doesn't mean that the Strand will cease to be.
Just don't expect any updates from her.
Random Weird News: Yesterday the Strandies
and three of our friends made a baby quilt for our Physics teacher,
whose baby daughter was just born. It's really pretty, and
we're all very proud of our choice in fabric and ability to sew
a quilt in one day. We're giving it to him today, hope he
likes it.
That's about all I can think of for now.
Next update I'll tell you all about my summer plans.

Remember that long-term sub I mentioned for
band? We've decided that she's not just okay, she's awesome!
We order pizza in the band room for lunch on Fridays, and she's
started a flute ensemble and she's just plain awesome! Our
concert plans have changed some- we're not playing the Les Mis
because the arrangement we have sux, but we are playing a cewl
medley of themes from Robin Hood. With a flute solo for
Robin and a piccolo solo for me.
The musical went well- we had practically a
full house every night. I ended up playing flute and piccolo
and now whenever there's a piccolo part they assume I'll play
it. The cast party was silly as usual, we ended up watching
Disney's Tarzan at like 3 in the morning.
AP tests are coming up, and this year I'm taking
English Lit. and US History. We'e into crazy study time.
Jasper's out of state. He left Monday
for a day-and-a-half train ride to Louisiana where he's taking
a cewl tour with his grandmother. He'll be back Friday,
and then he's spending most of spring break at my house. YAY.
Robin'll be in England for Spring Break.
The weird story I mentioned in the last news
is indeed up on the new Works
in Progress Page! There's also the beginnings of two
round-robin's from the new Strand-Writing list. I've gone
adding stuff crazy and added the whole RolePlay section, with
the char pages for my and robin's characters, as well as a bunch
of poems and stories. I also found a couple of awesome new
sources for graphics, and my next update will be on the links
page, which sorely needs it, so be looking out for that.

rg, the html the stupid onelist page gave me didn't work. I'll have to figure it out some other way.
My apologies for lack of updates, as I have been sick, tired,
and overloaded with work and rehearsals. I have plans for the
updates but have not had the hours to enact them.
Meanwhile, in my life i am currently busy with rehearsals for
pit ochestra. The musical is Sound of Music, and I must say, we've
done much more fun musicals. Much more fun. But, hey, who'm I
to complain? I'm just the lousy flute/piccoloist.Enough self-pity.
Other than that, Robin and my characters on the Steelsings Tamora
Pierce RP Tala and Elianna have left the rp [for now] to go home.
They'll be back eventually, but in the meantime Robin and I are
having fun with some new characters.
In the lovelife department of things, life is the same as usual.
Except that somehow I've managed to see jasper for the last nine
weekends in a row, which is very very different from our previous
record of four, and from the norm of every other weekend. I think
I'm overwhelmed.
There's also a whole new set of pictures from the last few months
I need to scan [hint, hint, mom buy a scanner!] and put up. Writing
wise not much has happened. I did have to write a satire as a
theme, which turned out to be very interesting. I may put it up
for y'all to read. I have however, felt artistic lately. The result
is that I'm the middle of two drawings of my new rp character,
Arima. She seems to have captured my imagination.
Well, that's all for now, folks!

Author: Penny, again.
Well at least now that we have a newsboard
Robin updates occasionally. Ah well.
This being the first full update of the new
year, happy new year. *YAY*!
We have a long term sub for the rest of the
year in band. She's okay, and has one really cewl trait-
she likes Broadway Musicals. As in, we're playing medley's
from: Smokey Joe's Cafe, Miss Saigon, Phantom of the Opera
and Les Miserables for the Spring Concert. This is my IDEAL
set of music. I was soooo happy! yay! [I'm listening to
Miss Saigon right now.] I love band.
The new year's party went well. We discovered
that it was actually the angelfood [or devilfood, I'm not sure]
cake that was spiked. Yum. It was probably the best
new year's party so far. The night before we had a smaller, impromptu
new year's party in my house after other plans went awry.
That was fun. And even though the world didn't go nuts,
I was with my friends new year's eve. I love you guys.
In the writing world, we have Part
3 of Elianna
and Tala's Story up! Woohoo! Also, I've started a story
which is going who knows where. The interesting part is
that it's in first person part of the time, and in the present
tense another part of the time. I almost never write first
person or present tense, I tend to write omniscient narrative,
past tense. But this is one of those stories which just
came to me and insisted it be written down. I may have the
first few pages online soon.
That's all for now, I have to finish my french
homework.

Yikes, look how long its been since a real
update. Sorry all.
From now on, Robin and I will be leaving mini-updates
when we don't have a full news on the Strand's
NewsBoard, where you can reply or even leave messages to us!
Check it out often. I left a little note on there today.
Since it is Winter Break, I'm doing all the
work I didn't get to do during the fall on the page. Robin's
Page has been added, My lair updated, I'm working on Insanity
incorporated's page. et cetera.
The Winter Concert went well, except for my
solo. Everyone else thought it was good, but I'm a perfectionist.
Ah, well. However, then with no warning our Band director
left us, telling everyone his last day why. Apparently he's
starting some sort of business among other things and can't take
the time to teach us anymore. Not that he ever really cared
about us. I just hope that whoever they get for next year
is good AND enthusiastic. If not, I'll make them be.
so there.
Robin's third annual New Year's Day party is
coming up, and oh, how much the guest list changes. The
only people the same from the beginning are me and Robin.
Hopefully it'll be more fun than last year, minus the "spiked
fondu". I plan to be with my friends new year's eve.
That way, if the false millenium causes the world to end, I'll
have them with me. You all know that the millenium isn't
until 2001, right? Good.
I've been begged to do pit for the musical
this year, since they need two flutes. I'm considering it,
though it is The Sound of Music.
Two AP, and three honors classes is driving
me insane, and college applications sure aren't helping Robin.
However, this break is definitely helping.
Over the last few months Robin and I have made
some cewl new friends, and dragged them into our circle, including
the awesome Ashley, who is one of those people who reminds me
of me in my days of lack of self-esteem. We're helping her,
and I think our friendship is good for poor Mousie.
That's all for now,

So, on top of marching band and all that, Robin
and I both got parts in our production of The Phantom Tollbooth,
directed by a student, for the elementary schoolers. And,
the debate team opens this week. ahh, life is busier than
ever. I just wanted to say yay! about getting a part.
Also, it looks like Robin's finally found a guy, but thats her
news to tell. :)

Ahhhh...summer vacation. AAAAAHHH!!! School!
That's about how I feel right now. School
starts tomorrow, and even though I've been home for a week, this
is the first chance I've had to update the page. That's
mostly because we had band camp last week, Saturday was the first
football game of the season, and yesterday was Karl's fifth birthday.
And today we went school supply shopping. I also went shoe
shopping with Mom and got three new pairs of black boots.
The first is just an ordinary lace-up black boot, the second are
suede zip-up the side, and the third is a pair of suede knee-highs.
Mmmm. James says they're evil, but hey, he's a Puritanical
b*st*rd.
So, Pennsic was lots of fun, I have some cewl
garb shoes now. {Anyone else notice a shoe trend here?]
AGT was lots of fun too.
I have a lot of stories and Robin and I both discovered what makes
Jasper so obsessed with the experience. I'm too tired and
sick of typing to tell any of them now, but Robin is working on
a story based on the experience of her character in one of the
adventures.
Band camp was okay, Erin makes a better drum
major than I expected. I actually, *gasp*, got a tan, which
in my opinion, sucks. [Phiffle to everyone who likes tans.]
I'm proud of my pale skin, and dammit, I miss it. But, since
I wore jeans the entire time at least my legs aren't tan.
I am so amazingly tired. Probably has
something to do with two straight weeks of camping and then a
week of marching band.
Well, that's all for now folks,

LIFE IS WONDERFUL!
Well, as most of you noticed from the main
page, Robin and I are going to be very very busy over the next
month or so. For starters, you already know we're going
to Pennsic. My family is leaving in a week, and hers is
the day after that. A week after we get back from Pennsic,
band camp starts. After a week of band camp, school starts.
Yikes!
Jasper got back from AGT on Tuesday on a bus
into our lovely hometown. So he spent that night and the
next at my house, where both of us expressed just how much we
missed each other. A lot. We were rather naughty little
children..... Andy'sway, the point is that it turns out
that Robin and I can go to the AGT session that starts when Pennsic
ends and lasts for a week! YAY! Of course that means
more time I won't be home or able to update this page. Sorry.

WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YES!!!!! I'M GOING TO PENNSIC!!!!!!!!WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
LIFE IS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!MOM GOT A JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hmm, I wonder, is Penny happy? YES! *jumping
up and down for joy commences* Okay, here's why:
Pennsic War is the big SCAdian camping event,
it happens every August. [10,000 medievalists all camped together
in Western Pennsylvania = tent city! and a helluva lot of fun!]
Robin is going this year with her family, they've been getting
ready all summer. Jasper was going to come with us, but
Mom being job-hunting [school librarian] meant we couldn't go
unless she had a job before-hand, since Pennsic is in the middle
of the time when most schools hire. So, until yesterday,
she was basically thoroughly anti-being able to go. No one
had called her back! And then she got a call from the school
she'd interviewed the day before! They want her! YAY! Robin
and her Mom were over, sewing, and after Robin's mom heard, she
was gently persuasive and now WE'RE GOING TO PENNSIC!!!!!!!!!
Mom and I made a list of all the sewing we have to do today, and
cleared out boxes to pack in. [its not for another two weeks,
but who cares?] Yay! Nine days camping with Jasper and Robin!!!
I'll finally be able to go dancing till the wee hours of the night
at the barn without Patri to chaperone, 'cause Jasper'll be there!!!
WAHOO! YES!
'Kay, that's all I have to say,

Hello, world! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
YAY! Jasper called me from AGT yesterday! Okay, that may
seem a silly reason to be so happy, but I really missed him, and
I usually talk to him at least twice a week. He's such a
sweetie.
So, on Friday I went to the pool with Robin.
Joanna was there, and we met her 13-yr-old cousin, Luke.
He looks like Mark Hamill, in the first Star Wars [no, wait, fourth]
movie!! Yikes! No, I didn't wear my bikini, it's in the
middle of being made to fit me better. He was actually human,
for a thirteen year old guy.
I've got another riding lesson in an hour,
hope I can get everything I want to done by then. Mom's been reading/surfing
for info on Wicca, she's been getting really interested.
She's actually reading one of the books she got out of the library
at me right now. It's really interesting. The one
thing I don't like about Wicca is the term 'witch' and the magic
part. All the earth religion part makes much more sense
to me than most Western religions. [Christ had a good idea, but
the church created around it was messed up, not to mention sexist!]
Well, part
2 of Elianna
and Tala's story is up! I finished it on wednesday.
I'm being pushy, making everyone I can read it, so you better
read it!

So I added the Hello page, but the link to Insanity Inc. isn't
up yet, sorry all for disappointing you. Sorry?
Don't be, they're not disappointed.
Quiet you. So here's the news:
As of tomorrow morning, Jasper is off at the
Adventure Game Theater for two
weeks, sniffle sniffle. We'll all miss him. Well,
you will. No, everyone else
will too, just not as much. He was over Thursday afternoon
through dance class Friday evening. We had a fun, busy time.
You call that busy?
Actually, I do. Thurs evening was the Girl Scout Troop #95/330
Awards Ceremony, almost everyone is a senior now. Yay! Friday,
after our flute lessons the three of us- Robin, Jasper and I-
went and saw Wild Wild West. It was really good, especially
the giant tarantula. Then we went to the pool, and I did
something really daring. Daring?
Penny, you're far too modest. That was quite a nice bi- Hey! Let me tell them. I wore my new bikini.
Yay! Or something. But it's all Robin's fault. But,
I'm told I looked good, so I guess that's cewl. After the
pool we got changed real quick and went to dance class, where
I showed off my new peacock linen kirtle, and Jasper his purple/green/black/yellow
plaid pants that I made him, as well as his new purple
top Lynn made him. We looked awesome. A
bit proud of that sewing, are you? Yes.
Anyway, Dana's taking flying lessons and getting
her license thingie soon, we hope. Robin's busy working
on her Gold Project, and I have a lot of sewing to do. So

Life is Beautiful!
Even though I went to bed after midnight for
the last four nights in a row, I am peppy, happy and cheerful.
scared? You should be. You might ask 'why?' I went
to bed so late, and here's the answer:
Starting on Friday, I spent the weekend, on the rp I mentioned
in my last news. I've finally made a sort of name for myself
there [translation: people know who I am!] and am having a lot
of fun.
I was up late yesterday 'cause I decided to sleep in our basement,
where it is actually cool [and the computer is located]! And then
my brothers decided they had to sleep in the basement too...
I had my first riding lesson of the year a
week ago, Monday. It was awesome, I cantered in an English
saddle, did some ground poles, rode really well, and just generally
had a good time. I'm having another lesson soon, as soon
as the instructor gets back from New York.
So, I updated the page, reorganized a little,
added some stuff. Even more stuff soon, hopefully.
I'm working on it, really I am.

MAJOR SORRIES!!
Unfortunately, because of geocities probs, no free time, and way
too much to do, this page hasn't been updated in forever in a
day. So, here goes. Last fall the Upper
Merion Underground Players presented Romeo and Juliet.
It was awesome, mom and I did the teaching for the dances for
the ball scene, we taught two Italian Ren dances, Gelosia and
Genevre. Then, with marching band and the fall play over
it was time for the musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor
Dreamcoat. As musicals go, it's plotless and corny, but
a helluva lot of fun to put on. Robin was in stagecrew,
I was the flautist for the pit. Life finally calmed down
somewhat after the musical, but then it was the fourth marking
period, and we all know what that means. STRESS. So finally,
on Memorial Day weekend, we all got to relax. Robin went
on the Junior Class trip to Florida, and I went to the local SCA
event, All's Faire in Love and War II. Of course,
Jasper was there. :) Robin should be glad she wasn't there,
we were insufferably cute. This marked a year since we'd
started sort of unofficially going out, since the last AFILAW.
We're both really serious about this relationship, and I've finally
agreed that Robin was right about us. In the last week,
we've been online a lot, editing webpages, but not this one.
This spring we started hanging on the Steelsings'
Tamora Pierce Site and the people there got me inspired
to work on a story that had been churning around in both our heads
for a while. The results of that can be found on our new
Cloverean Staffbearers'
Page .
*pauses to take a breath*
On Thursday, I had my third annual end-of-school party.
The group of people who came was: Jasper, Robin, me, Dana, Matt
(a drama&chorus kid), Bob (the Twit), Chris (lives on my block)
and Rachel "Elvis" (one of my first close friends.)
We all had fun with a two hour water balloon/supersoaker fight,
and then we separated. Bob, Chris and Jasper went upstairs
to play Goldeneye on the N64, and the rest of us went to the Wawa.
(yum)
On Friday, we finally got Robin's mom to come to the local SCA
dance class, and they brought Dana along. As well, we also
finally got Cindy, Mother of Jasper (as opposed to Cindy the Tolton
girl) to come, so she finally met Robin's mom. Everyone
had a lot of fun, and I think Dana is finally going to get to
know Jasper better. She's going down to Florida some time
this summer.
Finally, any time now I'll get to work on updating the rest of
the page, as soon as we deal with the Yahoo! Geocities merger.
Byezers,

SORRY!!!
I guess I've been ignoring the page for a little while but I have
excuses. Life has been more than a little crazy around here and
now is the first chance I've had to work on this in a while. Here's
a quick recap of the last 4 or 5 months. I turned 16, got a drivers
permit, it expired, I have to get a new one soon. Penny and I
met a nice guy named Jasper last spring, in July Penny and him
started dating, it's going very well except for the fact that
he lives almost a hour away bu they've found ways around that.
They went to Homecoming dance at UM together two weeks ago, a
dance at his school this week, been doing lots of stuff, he's
in the SCA and they've been amusing themselves with making every
one sick with how cute they are together and being scandalous
at Marching Band events with some very minor, but by Marching
Band terms, totally unheard of PDA. (Public Displays of Affection)
. They really aren't that bad though.
Dana went down to Florida to seen Brandon in
june, they had a good time and rumor has it that he's coming up
sometime this winter. I haven't been a romantic relation ship
since Dave last September but Penny and Dana are being really
nice and not driving me crazy with talk of their boyfriends.
Marching band is being really cool and last
night we scored Excellent in a the competition. We were really
proud because bands like Council Rock and William Tennent were
there. For music we are playing Birdland, Coconut Champagne, Frankie
and Johnny and If Ever You are in My Arms Again. The drill is
okay and the stands songs are the same as always.
I took my PSAT's yesterday and I take my first
of 3 SAT's next month. Tomorrow, the college I want to go to University
of Delaware, is making a visitation to our High School so I'm
going to that.
Until something new and noteworthy happens.

Sorry all for the long wait. I just finished getting this editor
to work on my comp, and Robin is sick of working on the homepage,
so no news for a while. Oops.
Well, the teeth pulling only hurt for a day, and now I don't even
notice that they're not there. I didn't get any mental hugs though,
so that means no one showed up on our page. Phooey.
I've had three riding lessons since the last one, and boy, was
that a lot of fun. We did a bunch of cantering, and I could really
feel my seat improving, from beginning of the lesson 'till the
end. We also did some ground pole stuff, and in a week or two,
will start jumping! YAY!
Last weekend, my family and Robin's wend to an SCA event, Landsknecht
Musterung. It was her mom and her sister's first event, and I
think/hope they had a lot of fun. Robin and I spent last Thurs.
and Fri, furiously sewing so that they'd all have garb. I'm very
proud of us. And, yes, the SCA page will be up someday, I don't
know when.

/d looks around, laughs, and starts to type.*
Silly Robin, Plateau, not dust-bowl indians. I got a 92 on the
project, better than most, worse than Andrea. Between the last
entry and this, many odd things have happened. First off, the
camping trip:
After our foreign language finals on Fri (Robin, espagnol, Me,
français) ended at 9:45, we hung around the high school
'till ten when my mom picked us up to shop for necessary camping
stuff, and breakfast. We hung out for a few hours, packed my stuff
(with an extremely detailed list that I wrote at 11:30 Thurs night)
and went to her house, where we packed and waited for everyone
to show up. There was a flurry of packing, a car ride, and then
we were THERE! We set up camp, wandered around (some of our troop
was actually guy-hunting, but we just randomly wandered and staff-fought)
and came back to camp, went to bed, talked, went to sleep. There
was a lot of rain, and the other tent was flooded, but we were
DRY! Saturday we didn't do much of the stuff we'd planned, having
to much fun laizing around and playing with the charcoal grills
and avoiding the rain. We did wander down to the barn with the
cool horse and the kid in the purple shirt who lied about his
age to impress me, and then to the homestead tour (my third).
By then, it seemed like Saturday had an extra three hours and
that Friday had been two different days. Finally, after entering
our stew in the soup and stew competition, we ended up leaving
because of the rain. We wouldn't have left except for the fact
that we had a few completely green campers who were terrified
of the thunderstorm. Oh well.
Enough about the camping trip. Next topic: Finals. *moan of horror.*
I think I did well, and Robin did too. The French final was ridiculously
easy, and the Soc Stud final scarily so. The others were just
kind of there, and I hate sitting in one place for two hours.
Third topic: I finally had my first riding lesson of the year
today. It was tons of fun and I smell like a horse (YAY!) and
someone else came by accident at the same time so we ended having
simultaneous lessons. As usual, Linda, my instructor, was amazed
at how little I forgot in eight months (I only have time to ride
in the summer) and how well I rode. Ginger was having a fly problem,
but was a lot better behaved than usual (She's a really contrary
mare) and Snowy was really well behaved, but he's a 'push-button'
horse. Hopefully, I can get two lessons a week in this summer,
and perhaps even do more jumping.
Finally, a note of pain. I'm having teeth pulled for orthodontal
work tomorrow, so you should all send me mental hugs and pain-relievers.
Until my next spurt of intelligence,
Penny aka Dragonlady

/d looks at the date on the last entry and cringes
Sorry, I could have sworn I wrote something last week. Anyway,
today was the first day of our last week of school. From now on
it's only half-days. Last friday was the UM Music Department Dinner.
It was a fancy dress-up thing that was catered and had a dance
afterwards. The dance was cool and we all had a lot of fun. Dana
didn't come because it was her birthday and she was really tired
from her class trip to Hershey Park earlier that day. Penny's
older brother Patri came and had a good time, everyone thought
he was really cool.
Penny gave her report on the dust-bowl indian ( she corrected
me when I showed her this page) and according to her teacher,
did a very good job. Today, she played Juliet's father in a skit
for the English class of a part of Romeo and Juliet. I'm assuming
it went well because she was cheery after class.
Over the weekend, My aunt and cousins who live
in Texas came up to visit and I want to my cousin Katie's Irish
Step-dancing Competition. She did really well and took 4rth in
both Novice Jig and the Beginner ( sorry, I can't remember the
name of the dance). We were all very proud of her because there
we so many competitors in both groups. It looks like I will be
going down to visit them sometime in July.
Dana has been furiously getting ready for her trip
to Florida that starts on Friday and Penny and I have been working
on things for our camping trip. Both look like they are going
to be a lot of fun.
I think Dana finished the last of her finals today.
She did well on her math final and we were all happy because she
had been very worried about it. Penny and I have finals staring
on Wednesday and running till the end of school. Wish us good
luck because I, at least, need all I can get.
The topic of the week had been how much our brains
seem to be a few months behind or totally off when it comesto
guys. Within the past week both Penny had I have had dreams involving
either guys we are totally over or have no opinion on. It's getting
strange.( I know, I know, "....'getting'?")
Also over the weekend, Penny's mother found my watch.
I lost it in May of 97' at her birthday party. We also went to
the new craft store and bought twelve dollars of stuff for random
reasons and to trim out staffs.
well, that's all I can think of today.
TTYL,
Robin

Well, everyone's been generally okay this week. Dana is very happy
now that she only has about two weeks before she goes on vacation
to Florida and sees Brandon. Penny is very cheery and probably
hasn't stop smiling all week long. I'm okay, I'm learning
to drive from my Mom and I drove around the block about 4 times
so far this week. Andrea made really great cake for her Social
Studies project on Morocco. Penny is working furiously on
her project for the same class which I believe is on some South-Western
Native American Tribe. I've also been working furiously on the
web page trying to get it up, running and with decent links to
keep people occupied for more than 5 minutes. On Friday, I was
"sick" and took a day off to go see the Devon Horse
Show with my Mom and sister. It was very cool. Today was The concert
Under the Stars of the High School and Middle School Jazz Bands.
They were both very good and Dana did very well on her solo during
Aftershock. In High School Band we are beginning to thing
graduation will be held on a Navy Cruise ship with the President.
Our musical selections so far are:
Pomp and Circumstance
Titanic Movie Sound Track Selections
Hail to the Chief
Anchors Aweigh
Navy Hymn (Eternal Father, Strong to Save)
We also believe that Mr. Whit, out band director, is crazy because
he wants us to play just "My Heart Will Go On" from
Titanic and we think that we will be booed and want to play
all of the Soundtrack except that. Maybe we will be able to convince
him to not make us play it.
That's all the news I can think of.
More when it happens or when I have time,
Robin
